Chaos Theory presents a night of dark, industrial, hardcore and experimental metal, tipping us over the edge of unfathomable grimness.
A Birmingham-based death industrial and doom duo comprised of Andy Swan (Iroha, Final) and Damian B (carthage, Gauge, Techno Animal).
Since their inception in 2013, they have toured with bands such as Godflesh and Conan, have shared the stage with Asphyx, Locrian, Okkultokrati, Vodun, Moss, Anaal Nathrakh, Final/JK Flesh, and played shows as far abroad as Israel in 2016.
Tonight will be the London release show of their third full-length album ‘Governance’, released via Cold Spring on 16th June, which features guest spoken word from Oxbow’s Eugene Robinson, guest cello by Jo Quail, and a remix of the by Tel Aviv artist Adrian Stainburner.
“They have that same dazed, extreme feel of oppressive concrete overload that Sabbath and Godflesh and Nathrakh and Mistress had…” – The Quietus
“Complex and draws you in.” – Louder Than War Magazine
A furious trio who masterfully bring in elements of grindcore, d-beat, hardcore and metal to form their adrenaline-packed, unique sound.
They’ve impressed us when sharing the stage with Hang The Bastard, No Spill Blood, Hark, Terminal Cheesecake, Casual Nun and JØTNARR, with rightfully growing audiences at every gig, so get involved and find out why.
“A damn sight better at it than many of their peers” – Terrorizer
“Harrowed’s take on dark, metallic hardcore is one of the best in the UK” – UK Scumscene
One of the first bands to ever play at The Facemelter, back in February 2011 in our old London Bridge home!
Originally formed in 1999, they quickly developed their sound into a fusion of black metal and electronics, resulting in their album ‘Posthuman’, released on Nocturnal Art Productions/Candlelight Records.
After a hiatus for several years, they were reborn with members of Akercocke, Dead Existence and Cythraul, but then tragedy forced them to stop again when their singer passed away. But now they return in another incarnation.
They are back with new record ‘The Unsearchable Riches of Void’ and it is absolutely crazy!
