Antarctica: Slick but dynamic and inventive psych-tinged blues rock – snappy arrangements, songs build really well a-la early 70’s Bowie, and the layered harmonies and sense of suspense recall Fleetwood Mac. Great stuff.
The Outbursts: A sound equally informed by garage punk like The Standells and proto-punk, so we’re talking MC5 and The Stooges and yer classic old school 77 gear Stranglers, The Damned etc.
Who Killed Nancy Johnson?: High-energy heavy pop-punk to punk to post-punk band. Influences include The Stooges, The Ruts, Buzzcocks, The Rezillos and Alkaline Trio, Weezer, Sabbath. Infectiously hooky tunes, executed with conviction and known for their incendiary live show.
Dronningen: Think Le Tigre but a bit harder/techier, but very much post-punky post-rave culture electropop de rock with shouty but melodic female vox. Another superb live act who are due to go places.

**Alan Clayson and the Argonauts** “were one of rock’s most glorious and enjoyable follies, and somewhere there is a parallel universe where they are bigger than The Beatles” (Rock ‘N’ Reel) and hold “a premier position on rock’s Lunatic Fringe” (Melody Maker).
In the late 1970s Clayson was being spoken of and written about in the same paragraphs as Wreckless Eric, John Otway, Tom Robinson and Elvis Costello, and featured in a BBC Radio One In Concert (which turned up on a 2001 bootleg CD).
Notoriety and cult glories aplenty but the Argonauts eventually succumbed to the treacherous seas of showbiz: no golden fleece. That was presumed to be that until a telephone call from out of the blue in summer 2005 from Damaged Goods records resulted in the release of “Sunset On A Legend”, a double-CD retrospective, and a reformation for a sensational farewell performance – which turned out to be the first of many. Here’s another not to be missed for fans of post-punking pre-punking outre outsider rock’n'roll.
Plus **The Bronsons** – pub rock and rhythm’n'booze revivalists in a Brinsley Scwartz via Ducks Deluxe sense, plus a bit of acidic Dr Feelgood punky boogie woogie oh yes. The Count Bishops and The Inmates are also reference points via a little counter cultural trippy blues. A great night out in themselves.
And **Eliphant** – psych pop , strains of late 60’s U.S. garage pop too, but this has that R’n'B fuelled slightly whimsical late 60’s brit feel, decently hooky and an authentic retro sound, fine work.

JAY VEE presents another night of crazed and depraved rock’n’roll shenanigans, descending now for the first time upon an unsuspecting Hackney.
Probably the loudest band in the world. Expect rock’n’roll distilled to its various essences – pounding rhythm, howling guitars and a whole host of fluids we won’t mention here. There will be rolling around, screaming and an insatiable urge to dance convulsively. Freaking terrifying, and an honour to have ‘em on the bill.
No nonsense Motorpunk from the wilds of York. These guys have been slaying audiences since 2011, and are the closest thing you losers will ever get to seeing Lemmy & co in their prime, with a unique spin on a classic sound. Proud to unleash them on London for the first time in a long while as they present their new long-player ‘Burston’ to the public..
Proper psychobilly for deviants, freaks, and oddballs of most descriptions. See you down the front for ‘8 Heads in a Duffel Bag’.
THE RATTLE SHAKERS
Brand new rock’n’roll / r’n’b hipshakers in the classic Dr Feelgood mould. Big riffs, skittering drums and general savagery abound.
As always, there’ll be a great selection of booze and cool tunes on the stereo all night. Get down, get loud and help us keep live music live!

For over 15 years The WitchDoktors have drawn on their early Punk/Garage influences to deliver a kick-ass live show of chart worthy tunes that can shatter your sound system and drive your dancing genes into a frenzy!
Their reputation as “One of the best live bands in London….they never fail to please….” speaks for itself and their own brand of SuperPunkRockTM now comes to you in their latest album collection “Voodoo Eye” – featuring 13 explosive trax, never released before, courtesy of Bomber Records.
Mixologists describe this experience as “….a fuelled-up cocktail of punk rock ‘n’ roll attitude with a sassy twang of trash-a-billy, a bitter twist of country attitude and all whizzed up in a fuzzed-out garage!”. Make what you will of that but decide with your own ears and eyes, you will only get out what you put in!
A 5 Year residency at Soho’s 12 Bar Club in London (and hundred’s of live performances around the country) has seen them rise from underground villains of rock’n'roll to legitimate hoodlums of guitar fuelled chaos! Their destiny has seen them share the stage with many of their own heroes (and influences) such as The Damned, Fleshtones, Revillos, Urban Voodoo Machine, Legendary Shack Shakers, Gold Blade, The Germs, Wreckless Eric and others too numerous to mention.
“Voodoo Eye” sees a giant step forward in finally capturing the true spirit and sonic impact of their live shows as a hard hitting 4th album and worthy follow-up to their widely acclaimed “$3 Dollar Hooker” album. “Voodoo Eye” has been Produced in conjunction with Mr Pat Collier (Ruts DC, UK Subs, Wonderstuff, Jesus & Mary Chain etc) at Perry Vale Studios London.
Predominantly mixed by Pat and the band, the opening kick-in-the gut live anthem “No Pain No Gain” comes courtesy of world renowned Producer/Mixer Mr Tim Palmer (Pearl Jam, David Bowie, H.I.M, Robert Plant etc). Along with the core band of Andy, Zig, Tony & Joe, the new record features additional contributions from Colonel Spencer Evoy (MFC Chicken), Dan Criscuolo (The Fuzillis) and Jim “The Bishop” (King Salami)
The scene is set and the onslaught begins. Live shows throughout the south of England during June are just the start of the “Voodoo Eye Campaign” and their 6th Undercover Festival engagement (in a row! The ONLY band to have achieved this so far!) in September acknowledges their capabilities as a stunning live show. We’re sure this release will gain the WitchDoktors further recognition in their mission to deliver SuperPunkRockTM across the UK and Europe just for starters!
Watch out for your volume levels for your own safety please, you have been warned!
PLANET ANDY: Words of wisdom, Gretsch ‘n’ Gibson Geetars, big shirts

In 1944, a crack commando unit made up of five of the best men of the US Army was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they ACTUALLY had committed. Disobeying the orders of their superiors, they crossed the enemy lines with the objective of obtaining a booty of gold lingots from the hands of the German forces, whose location they knew from a renegade sergeant who responded to the name of “Sgt. Oddballs”. Through the fields of Nancy, our heroes resisted the insistent Panzer tank’s fire on the back of an old Sherman M4, which, without fuel, was fed by a nefarious Central European brewery with deer tag. Back at the base they were sent to court and even so, they soon escaped from the prison where they were held. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as a soldiers of fortune and hide disguised as a rock and roll band. Inspired by bands such as A-Bones, Los Chicos, and MFC Chicken, and in honour of his partner, Sgt. Oddballs, they crawl through all scenarios and play the most obscure darkest sounds of the 50s and the most garagey of punk. If you have any problems and you find them ……. maybe you can hire them!
Armed to the teeth with guitars (Mario), bass (Jose), Drums (Javier), maracas (Juanillo) and sax and washboards (Dani), they have shared the stage with the likes of King Salami, Les Grys Grys, Dustaphonics and Fuzzillis, to mention a few, and they just recorded their first LP which was released on the infamous FOLC Record label. We actually think they caught the owners (Los Chicos) totally drunk at the moment of signing. If they are coming to your local music venue, don´t miss the chance of sharing a beer with these lil´rascals and take note, it’s tested by research that there’s no snow, wind or rain that can stop them!
Los Sustos emerged in 2011 at México City, influenced by the sounds of Garage punk, 60′s Rithim and Blues, 70′s Psych y 80′s Garage Revival. In 2012 they recorded their first independent EP called ” Sin Miedo a la Muerte” Wich included 4 original songs and a cover version of “Baby Please Dont Go ” from the band Them (1971). Los Sustos have played in some of the most important underground music forums of México like Multiforo Alicia, El Real Under, Caradura, Multiforo 246 and performed on stage with international bands like Los Peyotes, The Cynics, Los Vigilantes, The Incredibble Staggers, Los Mambo Jambo and worldwide known mexican bands as Los Explosivos, Mustang 66, Los cavernarios, Telekrimen and many other great bands. Also, they have good vibe comments from World Wide Personalities of the garage rock music like Michael Kastelic (The Cynics), Bob Urh (Ultra 5), Russell Quan (The Mummies), Making their budget rock music known so far in the USA and Europe.
