Killdren are releasing their 2nd EP with six new rave-punk bangers!
Come along to north London’s best punky boozer for a free evening of weird, silly and political music. We will be playing our new material and also welcome Spazrammer for his amazing Gameboy liveset!
One more act TBA…
Killdren sit uneasily between straight-up nihilism and fresh-faced naivety, penning politically charged slapstick anthems. They form the ideal soundtrack to the worst generation in history. During the short space of time since forming in 2017 Killdren have played gigs at venues, dingy free parties, festivals home and abroad.
Their tongue-in-cheek politically charged mix of rave music and punk sensibilities is a nod to the existing back catalogue of the two primary band members Efa Supertramp and Nick Ronin. The former is a singer-songwriter who is part of the European DIY punk scene with her solo folk-punk act. The latter is a electronic music producer, live performer and free party veteran. Each brings their own energy and talents into the project and they choose to use their uniquely spiky and fun rave-punk fusion to project their political outlook and thirst for change.

A young band from Luton, formed in 2010. Rough yet catchy vocals, knuckle dragging guitar riffs, driving bass and drums as loud as howitzers; HAZARD deliver a gut punching set. Audiences have likened us to bands such as The Clash, Stiff Little Fingers, Nirvana, Manic Street Preachers and your favorite bands. https://www.facebook.com/hazardbanduk http://www.hazardofficial.com
Who Killed Nancy Johnson?
A Reading punk band, sometimes leaning into post-punk, sometimes a bit hardcore, sometimes a bit post-hardcore. Occasionally bits of goth creep in. The lyrics are sometimes political and sometimes philosophical – then it gets fast and vicious. A punk band. https://www.facebook.com/WhoKilledNancyJohnson https://www.wknancyj.com

It started in 2014 when Dave, Rocky and Calle were playing together in the latest incarnation of seminal British punk rock band The Fits (now dormant). When the group broke up, Carl, Rocky and Dave continued to write songs and record demos with no other goal than just to have fun and see what happened. Dave’s mate Alex Love heard some tracks and offered to help with lyrics and vocals, and Rocket 66 was born! Rocket66 is now busy with rehearsing and recording their debut album together with legendary record producer Dave Allen (The Cure, The Mission, The Members and many many others) to be released in the early summer of 2019. https://www.facebook.com/rckt66 https://www.rocket66.co.uk
Plus one more band to add.

We are hosting a night of international antifascist solidarity. The night will start with a talk by comrades from the Libertatia squat in Greece who’s building was burned down by fascists. They’ll give an overview of the rise of the far-right in Europe and efforts anarchists are doing to combat this.
Then the party begins.
We’ve got a hectic and frankly quite random lineup of bands for your musical enjoyment.
’24 years on the road and stronger than ever, London’s legendary Inner Terrestrials are a stomping mix of dub, punk, ska, folk and general anarchic danceability.’
‘Sitting uneasily between straight-up nihilism and fresh-faced naivety, Killdren pen politically charged slapstick anthems.
They form the ideal soundtrack to the worst generation in history.’
’3 piece girl punk band’ and winner of ‘minimalist band bio’ award 2018.
The Chain of Panic
‘Two parts Lithuanian, one part South African H/C THRASH PUNK.’
More acts TBC shortly.
Tickets will be £5 on the door (donations if unwaged/carer) and all money raised will be split between Libertatia and imprisoned Russian anti-fascists.
DIY space sells cheap booze and vegan snacks. It is a members’ club. Open to members and their guests only. Membership costs £2 and takes 48 hours to take effect. Join and pay at diyspaceforlondon.org
