China Shop Bull

The punk hip-hop apocalypse that is China Shop Bull has gained the hearts and respect of people around the world on the back of consistent touring and the success of two album releases. Festivals appearances at Boomtown Fair, Mighty Sounds (CZ), Rebellion, Symmetry, No Man’s Land, Beatherder, Eden fest and many more have seen China Shop Bull prove themselves to be a favourite in festival, punk, rave and party scenes. Fusing countless styles and genres such as drum&Bass, hip-hop, ska and dub all mixed up and spat out with intense energy, punk ethos and attitude. Guaranteed to get you jumping.

One Eyed God

Blasting out an infectiously ramshackle and raucous wall of sound, One Eyed God are a 5 piece combo and have been a regular fixture on the festival circuit since forming in 2011. Fusing punky ska, reggae and dub with sax driven melodies and balkan bouzouki licks, the music embodies the carnival atmosphere of a festival with lyrics showcasing both life’s reality, surreality and absurdity.

DOGHOUSE

‘Techno, Punk, Clown, Trash’… previously rebel rousing frontman for legendary techno, punk band, SICKNOTE, Doghouse has returned… and this time it’s personal. Having honed his sonic/lyrical attack, and with the ‘Idiot Savant’ at the helm, they will drag you through their Brechtian world where loners, freaks and square pegs are most welcome.

Brassick

Formed about 5 years ago and hailing from the West Midlands UK, playing loud angry hardcore punk with Brassick have a fast growing following and a reputation as one of the most exciting bands around. Ever out spoken but with a tendency not to take themselves seriously, with a true anti-fascist, anti-capitalist and pro equality message which can be heard through their lyrics and live shows.

Dogshite
To top off this amazing bill we have London based 4 piece Dogshite.
Dogshite formed because they wanted to have a laugh and to make music to equal to that of their heroes of old, bands like obscurist indie types the Shapes and Kleenex, mixed with the sound, energy, and political nihilism of classic punk bands like X-Ray Spex, the Slits and Anarcho legends Crass. Agit-pop/ska tinged socially aware anarcho Punk Rock.

Chaos Theory/Match& fuse present: The Display Team, Magnus Loom, Ms Mercy

Genre-fluid promoters of the weird and wacky Chaos Theory join forces with promoters of avant-garde jazz, prog and all manner of genre-colliding music Match&Fuse, to present a special lineup of audio oddities.

———————
The Display Team

Two years after Chaos Theory had the sheer giggly joy of working with this supergroup on their sold out album launch show.

Containing members of Nøught, Gong and Knifeworld, this prog-punk orchestra creates a heavy assault of surprisingly upbeat, melodic nonsense, resulting in something like a cross between The Specials and Mr Bungle.

“A beast with 24 limbs, and 6 brains fused into a sympathetic matrix of heady harmonies, ballistic brass, romping-stomping riffs and more “wonk” than a bad hedge.” – Sputnikmusic

———————
Magnus Loom

A heady mix of almost indefinable sounds, utilising heavy electronics, light-fingered instrumentation and falsetto vocals to result in a medley of experimental pop and punk. Of sorts.

“A cornucopia of brightly burning pitches and rhythms.” – Folk and Honey

———————
Ms Mercy (launch gig)

A new noise project of total chaos, rock, metal, noise, prog, punk and more, featuring members of WorldService Project. A brilliant FNM/SOAD/Bunglesque experience.
