Do One release debut album: “Please Don’t Tell Anyone How I Live”

Do one formed in 2017 and came up as part of the scene built around the now-infamous and long gone T Chances venue in Tottenham, North London.

We wanted to create something harder, faster and more Simpsons-based than the music that was around at the time. The members of the band bring together a range of influences – from hardcore, powerviolence, doom/sludge, anarcho/d-beat, grindcore & 90s death metal. The result is a mixed bag of slow and fast which always aims to get audiences active.

We self-released “That’s the Worst Name I Ever Heard” (2017) the Clancy Bastard EP (2019) and a Split with South London’s ETC (2020) – released digitally and on Cassette. “Please Don’t Tell Anyone How I live” is the band’s debut full length release, released digitally in June 2024 with vinyl to follow soon. Recorded by Sam Thredder(SLABDRAGGER/CTHULHU YOUTH/FRIGHTENER) at the Cro’s Nest Studios, it captures the band’s sound in all its blasting glory, featuring tracks written between 2018 and 2023.

Do One regularly play all over the UK, including multiple festival appearances and have toured with the likes of CRUTCHES (SWE),POISONOUS CUNT (UK), and as part of the PRIDE PUNX COLLECTIVE, as well as touring Ireland/Northern Ireland in early 2020 and are currently lining up our first appearances in mainland Europe for late 2024.
